About Victorious Outcomes

Victorious Outcomes is a nonprofit organization providing services at no cost to students, parents, educators and communities of the Rio Grande Valley. The purpose of the organization is to support individuals in their entirety (spirit, soul, and body) so that they may experience and live the victorious life that God has for them.

Currently, all teachers, counselors, mentors, nutritionists, and experts in the spirit, soul and body are volunteers. Volunteers teach and minister to individuals about what the Bible says regarding the spirit, soul and body and as it relates to their current situation. Christian counseling is available to help individuals reset their way of thinking in relation to their circumstances. Also, available are wellness and intervention programs to assist individuals find their gifts/talents/calling in life and how to better take care of their bodies and live healthy.

Victorious Outcomes website (http://www.victoriousoutcomes.org) provides resources on how to grow spiritually, mentally and physically and possible answers to the current situation one may be experiencing. Individuals can also submit a prayer request online and our prayer team will commit to pray for each prayer request for 30 days. In addition, Victorious Outcomes is in the process of organizing prayer teams who will pray for every school, community college, and university. The current focus will be in the Rio Grande Valley. The prayer teams will be trained how to pray and intercede for individuals in those schools so that everyone comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and live a victorious life.

Victorious Outcomes is a faith-based public charity funded through individual donors, gifts, fundraisers, grants and volunteers. We have faith that with the support from individuals, people of influence, businesses, corporations, and other entities in our communities and around the world, we will be able to grow and one day serve beyond the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

Our Story

In September 2018, the founder, Irma D. Duran, began to seek the Lord in a 40-day fast asking God what He would have her do in the next phase of her life. At that time, she had completed 43 years in education. The Lord revealed to her to open a nonprofit to focus on the entire person rather than just academics. During her 43 years in education, Irma saw many students, parents, and educators hurting, burdened and at times anxious. Unfortunately, there was limited access to social and emotional support.

After I made an inspection, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people. “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord, and fight for your countrymen, your sons and daughters, your wives and homes.”

Nehemiah 4:14

Since 1989, Irma partnered with Jesus Christ and began to pray for the individuals in the schools and districts she worked in and started possessing the land and people for God. She believed the Word of God that said

"I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses."

Joshua1:3 (NIV)

"So that day Moses swore to me, 'The land on which your

feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever,

because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly."

Through extensive prayer and discussion with certain individuals, Victorious Outcomes showed evidence of existence in April 29, 2019; however, it was not to July 2020 that Irma started to actively work on the nonprofit after finishing another year as an education consultant.

Victorious Outcomes’ whole purpose for existence is to help individuals improve their current way of living and/or looking to live the life God intended for them. It brings good news that through Jesus Christ there is hope and a better life for everyone who is willing to get help and guidance. Irma’s testimony of God’s goodness also has made her want to share the good news and the revelations and understanding she has learned over the last 40 years walking with and serving the Lord. There are no exceptions; everyone willing may have a better life and better yet – A Victorious Life.
