Day 19 Devotion
Day 19 Devotion
Day 19: Truth
Scripture:
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Prayer:
Lord, we ask that You remove any blinders from the eyes of all of us and that Your truth be revealed. We pray that Your Word frees us from our fears and snares of the enemy so that we may continually walk in truth. We thank You for the Spirit of Truth and today we choose to be led by it. Help us to recognize His leading, to discern His voice, and to understand His direction. May we honor the Spirit of Truth in our lives by being obedient to it’s prompting of Your Word and will in our lives. We surrender every area of our lives to You, Lord. In Jesus Name, we pray. Amen.
Decree:
We decree God's truth will reign in our schools setting everyone free from the snares of enemy.
5 Promises:
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
“Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body of armor of God’s righteousness.” Ephesians 6:13-14
“And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, He identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom He promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that He will give us the inheritance He promised and that He purchased us to be His own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify Him.” Ephesians 1:13-14
”You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” Exodus 20:16
“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” Psalm 25:5
Application:
How can you learn God’s truth?
How can you teach His truth to others?
Do you pray the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:14-17) over your family and yourself daily? If not, read Ephesians 6:10- 18 and spend some time memorizing it for the sake of your family
