Day 11 Devotion
Day 11 Devotion
Day 11: Joy
Scripture:
“Shout for Joy to the Lord, all the earth.” Psalm 100:1
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for your enduring love, goodness and faithfulness. You have told us joy comes in the morning and we believe it. We bind the spirit of heaviness over our students, parents and everyone that works in the educational system. We release in them the garment of praise and the oil of joy to be able to worship You, “the great I AM”. As we release Your joy into the atmosphere of schools, we believe all will live out the destiny and purpose You have for them. Lord, let the schools’ setting be a haven of joy, gladness, hope, and peace for everyone as they work together as unto You with excellence. We pray all this in the Name of Jesus Amen.
Decree:
Today we decree that You, Lord, have put gladness in all of our hearts.
5 Promises:
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my mourning clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” Psalm 30:11
“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again.” Psalm 42:5
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:1
“The Lord is my strength (joy) and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him.” Psalm 28:7
“Shout for Joy to the Lord, all the earth.” Psalm 100:1
Application:
How does joy come to us?
How can you teach someone about joy?
Joy is one of the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. Do you have joy or do you need to ask God to help you experience joy in your life?
