Day 8 Devotion
Day 8: Discipline
Scripture:
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7
Prayer:
Lord, we come to You in awe of Your love and faithfulness. We are grateful that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and self control. Today we ask that You guide each of us to be led by Your Spirit of Truth. May we not be distracted by or yoked to the things of this world, but let us be disciplined and self-controlled. Give us discernment so that we can keep our eyes on You and apply moderation to everything we do. We ask all these things in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Decree:
We decree that students, parents, and all school community members are led by the Spirit of Truth and are willing and obedient in all that they do.
