Day 10 Devotion
Day 10 Devotion
Day 10: Peace
Scripture:
“Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
Prayer:
Father, today we pray for Your peace in our schools, homes and community. We pray that Your peace would encamp around us. Help us to be people of peace. We cancel every spirit of strife, confusion, anger and malice and say that Jesus is our Prince of Peace.
Decree:
We decree that the immeasurable peace of God surrounds us, our families and schools.
5 Promises:
“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8
“For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9
“He will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
Application:
What areas in our schools do we need the peace of God?
What areas in your life do you need the peace of God?
Pray about each area and believe that the Peace of God is greater.
